The Merciful Bastards of Rome Strike Back

It was inevitable.  The regime of mercy and forgiveness and surprises in the Vatican has threatened to sue a Catholic blogger, Vox Cantoris, for the crime of publishing the very words of the regime in question.  I wondered what had taken these hypocrites so long to begin their counterattack.

Father Thomas Rosica, the less-than-photogenic stooge of Vatican spokesman Father Lombardi, is all atwitter over the blog's publishing of his very own words and has threatened the blogger with legal action if he doesn't remove Rosica's own words from his blog.  That this is the proverbial shot across the bow intended to intimidate bloggers is so obvious that it is needless to even point it out.

Interestingly, Rosica has taken a page from the sodomite's playbook here.  The gaystapo has been using similar threats of a legal nature to silence their critics.  See Mass Resistance for details.  One may ask if it is the poofs who are advising the Vatican or the other way around.

Perhaps The Thomas More Law Center or persons like Chris Ferrara could step in here and offer some advice if not help to Vox Cantoris, a blog I for one highly value and have been proud to link to. If the Lavendar Mafia in Rome is going to resort to these kinds of games it is time for bloggers to call their bluff.

This is also a good time to reflect on the abandonment of Catholics by their fathers in Rome.  Not only have we been abandoned by priests, Bishops and Popes, and for a very long time, but we have been stabbed in the back by them.  And although I cannot prove it of course I smell the strong, sulfurous stench of the Homosexual Agenda busily at work here.  Time will tell.

My recommendations?  Say a decade of the Rosary for Vox Cantoris starting today and if you can send him a few shillings for a legal defense fund that he may need.

May God and Our Lady protect Vox Cantoris from the wolves of Rome.

Vox promotes the neocath Mike Voris wiith his lying, un-Catholic foaming at the mouth crap so I really don't care.

I'm not sure you can use the word "promoting" to describe Vox's infrequent references to the occasionally disappointing Mr Voris. All of us bloggers link to others we don't always agree with, if they have something important to say.

I believe you should care about this if for no other reason than it reveals the depths to which clerical quislings will go to achieve their agenda, even if that means destroying a good man.

I agree, whether all traditional Catholics agree with each other in all the fine details is beside the point of the whole matter. No, I don't agree with Voris and quite frankly, he has been a puzzle to figure out his 'hands off' policy of the Holy Father's strange non orthodox ramblings, but I do believe his ministry is geared to exposing the heresy and the crisis that it's perpetuated in the Church, the same as the rest of us.

That said, it should be quite obvious to most that unless the Vatican refutes the antics of Fr. Rosica publicly, a precedent has been set, and the Vatican has sent a warning shot from Rome to all faithful Catholic tradition minded bloggers that if they don't 'mind their peas and cues' and go along with their anti-Catholic agenda, they're next. It may be time for traditional Catholic bloggers, followers, and all Catholics that are true to the teachings of the Church to 'circle the wagons' regardless of their individual differences.

Very well said, TLM.

Dietrich von Hildebrand pointed this out in his book The Devastated Vineyard when he said, "The drivel of the heretics, both priests and laymen, is tolerated; the bishops tacitly acquiesce to the poisoning of the faithful. But they want to silence the faithful believers who take up the cause of orthodoxy, the very people who should by all rights be the joy of the bishops' hearts, their consolation, a source of strength for overcoming their own lethargy. Instead, these people are regarded as disturbers of the peace. And should it happen that they get carried away in their zeal and express themselves in a tactless or exaggerated manner, they are even suspended. This clearly shows the cowardice which is hidden behind the bishops' failure to use their authority....The failure to use holy authority to protect the holy Faith leads necessarily to the disintegration of the Church"

Every Catholic should read at least the first chapter of von Hildebrand's book, "The Lethargy of the Guardians" to understand what's happening today.

Fr. Rosica is an icon for C.S. Lewis' men without chests. He has a swelled head but no heart. May God have mercy on him.

What a joke it is to "write to the Vatican" or "the Pope." It is probably Fr. Rosica who is answering the mail!
